Hi, I’m Ahmed Sallam — an Art Director who fell in love with design and advertising the moment I stepped into it back in 2017.
My journey began at Guerrilla Marketing School, one of Egypt’s biggest production houses at the time. They were just starting to build their digital marketing team — and I was part of that first wave as a Junior Designer.
It was the perfect mix of chaos and opportunity. I learned how to design social media visuals that captured attention while also spending long hours on production sets, watching how ideas turned into moving images.
That dual experience — between digital and production — made me fall in love with the craft of storytelling itself.

After Guerrilla came Digital Veins, where I dove deeper into social media design and branding. I learned to balance aesthetics with strategy, to turn visuals into brand stories that people remember. Each campaign became an experiment in clarity, culture, and creativity.
Then came Lux Afrique, my first international experience, collaborating remotely with a London-based team. It was eye-opening — a masterclass in cultural nuance and the power of visual storytelling that transcends language.
By 2023, I stepped into a leadership role as a Junior Art Director at Tafasil, where I started merging strategic direction with creative intuition — mentoring designers, leading teams, and refining the emotional impact of visuals.
A year later, I joined Hype Marketing, a place that pushed my creative boundaries even further.
At Hype, I didn’t just design — I led campaigns from concept to execution, crafted narratives that resonated across social platforms, and mentored young creatives to think bolder and sharper.
That experience shaped how I approach creativity today: as a collaborative process where emotion meets structure, and strategy breathes life into art.

Now, at 9Yards Communications, I lead as a Creative Art Director, transforming bold concepts into cohesive visual experiences — campaigns that connect culture, design, and technology in ways that move people and brands alike.
Outside the office, I’m deeply passionate about films, reading, and continuous learning — especially storytelling and direction.
That passion led me to study film directing, a discipline that completely changed how I see composition, rhythm, and emotional timing. It’s the secret ingredient that quietly fuels my work as an art director today.

Eight years, hundreds of projects, and over a thousand cups of coffee later — I’ve learned that creativity isn’t something I do.
It’s the way I see the world.
